Seize your clubs and delve into the Hawks Ridge golf essence through our walk-only, Executive Par 3 Course. Mirroring the pristine conditions and scenic vistas of the main course, this par-three haven welcomes the seasoned to hone their skills, and the novice to enjoy a congenial playtime.

The Course

Challenging, beautiful and private, this course is everything a serious player could ask for. Five hundred and fifty acres of towering pines, changing elevations and water hazards result in a diversity of shots and strategies. Hawks Ridge will challenge the finest players round after round.

Meet the Pros

  • Ryan Joyce, PGA

    Head Golf Professional

     

    Originally from Wellington, Ohio, Ryan graduated from Ferris State University with a degree in Professional Golf Management. Elected to membership in the PGA of America in 1997, he served as a PGA Professional at Firestone Country Club in Akron, OH, and as Head Golf Professional at Admirals Cove in Jupiter, FL. 

     

    Ryan has been at Hawks Ridge since 2002 and currently serves as an At Large Director on the Georgia Section PGA of America Board of Directors and has held various positions over the years.

     

    Ryan enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters and participating in section events. He recently won the Georgia PGA Pro-Pro tournament with Hawks Ridge Assistant Professional John Parker. Passionate about all aspects of the game, Ryan has extensive knowledge of the golf business and was named Merchandiser of the Year in 2017 by the Georgia Section of the PGA.

     Respected in the Georgia golf community, Ryan is known for his expertise, teaching ability, and event management skills, as well as his enthusiasm for providing members with an exceptional golfing experience.

  • Assistant PGA Professional

    Brock is originally from Kennesaw, Georgia, where he learned the game of golf from his father and grandfather at Pinetree Country Club. He began competing in junior events at the age of eight and continued his playing career through college at Lee University. Today, he remains active in competitive golf and has proudly represented Georgia in the Assistants Cup against Tennessee for the past two years—one of his most notable achievements in the section.

    Brock began his professional career as an Assistant Professional at Pinetree Country Club before moving to Country Club of the South. During his time there, he worked closely with the instructional team to support and grow the junior golf program.

    Outside of golf, Brock enjoys watching soccer and football and spending quality time with close friends and family.

  • Assistant PGA Professional

    Sam Abramson is originally from Madison, New Jersey, and was raised in Windermere, Florida. He developed a passion for golf at an early age thanks to his father and went on to compete in numerous junior tournaments through the AJGA and FSGA. Sam graduated from Keiser University with a degree in Golf and Sports Management, where he also served as captain of the university’s club golf team.

    Sam began his professional career at Seagate Country Club in Delray Beach in 2020 and continued to broaden his experience at several prestigious clubs, including Bella Collina in Florida, The Quarry at La Quinta in California, Worcester Country Club in Massachusetts, and The Concession in Florida.

    He will be joining the Hawks Ridge team in October 2025 and has recently relocated to Cumming, Georgia. In his free time, Sam enjoys hunting, competing in tournament golf, and exploring new places.

  • Caddie Master

    Samuel Burge serves as the Caddie Master at Hawk’s Ridge. Originally from Fort Morgan, Alabama, Samuel attended the University of Alabama for his undergraduate studies. He is a United States Navy veteran and a former PGA Class A professional, having served as Head Golf Professional at two private clubs.

    After spending more than twelve years in the business sector, Samuel recently returned to the golf industry to pursue his passion for the game and for member service. He and his wife, Bethany, reside in East Cobb with their two young daughters. They enjoy spending quality time with friends and family.

    Samuel’s interests include golf, grilling, traveling, serving at Eastside Baptist, and reading. He is excited to be part of the Hawk’s Ridge team and considers it a privilege to serve the membership in a role he truly loves.
