At the cornerstone of this enclave lies an 18 hole golf course designed by Bob Cupp that is as beautiful as it is challenging. For true golf enthusiasts who long to be reaquainted with an era revered for its grace and sophistication, Hawks Ridge Golf Club is unmatched in it's ability to unite old world elegance with present-day luxury in a picturesque golf course setting.

This luxury estate community, located just north of Atlanta, Georgia, is unlike any other. One of the last bastions for seclusion, privacy and relaxation, Hawks Ridge Golf Club is a virtual paradise that leaves the world behind simply by driving through the private gates.

The vision of Hawks Ridge Golf Club is to create an exceptional golf club community that calls to mind the legendary golf courses and lavish estates of the past. Inspired by the classic architecture of the 1920's and 30's, Hawks Ridge Golf Club is a return to old-world sophistication in a luxurious golf course setting.

America's Top 100 Golf Courses
Hawks Ridge is honored to be added to Golf Digest's prestigious list of America's Top 100 Golf Courses in 2005, our first year of eligibility.

As we head into mid-spring the golf course is starting to green up nicely. One thing I noticed is we have almost no winter damage to the bermuda grass, so the sodding this spring should be minimal compared to the 13 loads we had to lay in the spring of 2014. Also, our annual nemesis of spring is dead spots in the fairways and it is considerably less this year. In the next couple of weeks we will be fertilizing the entire course, which will ensure a beautiful green course come early summer.

Another project we recently completed is the landscaping around #1 black tee. It was an eyesore
before, but now when you head to #1 tee you see a beautifully designed landscape. We are also
continuing to add mulch and pine straw throughout the course and touching up many beds around the greens and tees. Many of these beds have not been done in several years. It is a big
improvement for the course.

Last but not least, the greens have completely recovered from aerification. We are starting to double cut and roll the greens often to try and maintain daily green speeds that are fast and true.

As always, if you have any questions or concerns about the course, please feel free to call me.
